Bette and Chance :: Destination Wedding

July 22, 2016 / Casa Edwards, Los Cabos, Mexico

Bette and Chance’s destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico was my first wedding of the year. And what a way to kick off wedding season!

I started the blog entry with a few images of the rehearsal dinner on the beach. A modern, casual design with luxurious touches. See that fire pit with pillows? So cool. And then you can check out the wedding. The venue, Casa Edwards, is top notch. You can’t beat the ocean views, soft sandy beach, the patio and those detailed steps with Spanish tiles. Vibrant colors abound throughout the amazing decor. The planners at Signature Event Consulting & Design did a great job organizing, coordinating and bringing together an outstanding team of wedding pros to create this festive destination wedding.

Enjoy the fiesta!

From Signature Event Consulting & Design: There are 3 things that make us very very happy when doing our job: working with amazing clients, creating a unique, authentic and tasteful design, and working with a team that carries along those values. This wedding incorporates all of this. We love the festive and joyful atmosphere, that says Mexico, but not in a Mexican fiesta way. From the natural elements, wooden tables, linen tablecloth, to the fresh, delicious blooms, and the fun, relaxed atmosphere, this Baja Wedding was a real treat for us. The inspiration behind the decor was to create a very romantic and elegant setting, that also felt relaxed, fun and personal. Bette & Chance were truly focused on having a great time celebrating their vows with their loved ones. Bette & Chance were the example of the perfect destination wedding couple. Destination weddings are amazing, fun and memorable, but they are not for everyone. You need to trust your team, very early in the process, you need to release any wishes of control, because you simply won’t be able to control things. It goes without saying that hiring great wedding professionals is the first key to success. Then, having a free spirit, being open to other cultures, and to fun alternative scenarios are the other keys.
