Roza & Eman :: Persian Wedding at The Fairmont Hotel

January 25, 2017 / 950 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94108

Roza and Eman’s wedding at the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco was spectacular! The wedding ceremony was a traditional Persian Sofreh designed by the bride herself. In case you’re not familiar with the term, the Sofreh is a traditional Persian wedding ceremony spread displaying symbolic items representing elements of marriage. This can include an assortment of sweet pastries and fruit, a mirror, candles/candelabras, coins, candy, bread, honey, a ceremonial cloth and so on. After this marriage ceremony, the couple hosted a grand reception in the Gold Room of the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco. The reception featured opulent decor in a chandelier-filled ballroom, a 10-layer cake, ruffled white linens, and over-sized, white rose table centerpieces. It was truly a classic ballroom wedding with an abundance of elegance. Scroll to the end of the blog for a list of the wedding professionals who made it all happen.
